Pit Bull Breeder

The mother is larger than the standard Pit Bull Terrier. Some refer to this variation as a Bully. The size of the offspring obviously depends on the father, as well. We only own the matriarch at the moment.

Just like you may be a great athlete or extremely intelligent, Pit Bulls were originally bred for blood sports. Genetics are a factor, but environment also determines a lot.

Epigenetics means how behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect how genes work, essentially, “turning genes on or off.” And yes, genes influence behavior. So does environment.

With proper breeding practices and assertive (firm yet fair) training, a well rounded Pit Bull Terrier makes a great family pet.

Dogs can’t get a normal job, so as their caretakers, it’s our responsibility to provide the basic needs that all animals have: a clean abode, plenty of sunshine and exercise, good food, and occasional cuddles.
