Epigenetics means how behaviors and environment can change how genes work, essentially, "turning genes on or off."
With assertive (firm yet fair) training, any dog can make a great family pet.
Keep in mind, they'll need a clean place to live, plenty of exercise, good food, and occasional cuddles.
